Profile

More than ten years of work with the ICRC in the field and at headquarters and two years of continued training allow me to describe myself as a confirmed professional counsellor and trainer in stress management as well as in psychological support in times of transition.

Being pragmatic, I make use of my experience as an ICRC expatriate as well as my academic knowledge to bring concrete solutions that are adapted to the specific challenges confronted by humanitarian organisations and their personnel. Being determined, I use all means at my disposal to encourage consensus and agreement among my partners. Being empathic, I lend a supportive ear at the individual as well as the group level.

Being recognised by mental health professionals and accepted by humanitarian staff, I offer my professional expertise and personal competencies in proposing customised training, advice for the implementation of ‘well-being at work’ policies, and individual support.
